Senior Project Engineer Stability

Full time
Experience: at least 5 years

Are you a driven, stable engineer with a strong affinity for concrete and looking for variety in your work? Don’t hesitate to join our team so you can optimally utilize your talents in all these areas. You’ll quickly see how your structural insight can add value to your practice.

Job description

You will be responsible for monitoring and executing various projects focusing on the stability of existing concrete structures. During an introductory period, you will become familiar with the specific aspects of concrete damage and receive training from an experienced project team. You will then be able to independently take the lead on a project involving the following phases:

  • Developing an action plan: identifying the concrete issues and client needs, developing a suitable research program, and preparing a quotation.
  • Project coordination and implementation: preparation of a schedule, carrying out on-site measurements, coordinating technical staff and monitoring laboratory tests.
  • Processing of research results: collecting and processing results obtained from on-site measurements and laboratory tests, and feeding back results to on-site observations.
  • Reporting: targeted interpretation of your findings, preparation of a report and communication with the project team and the client.

In subsequent project phases, specific sustainability analyses, structural calculations, specifications, site monitoring, and so on can be performed. The specific services you wish to specialize in will be determined based on your personal interests, knowledge, and experience.

In short, you are looking for a job where your work adds value to practice and where you can combine different aspects of engineering work.

Profile

  • Work experience related to the stability of concrete structures is a plus, but not an absolute must.

  • You can work smoothly with programs such as Buildsoft, AutoCAD, etc.
  • You are hands-on and have a practice-oriented, critical research mentality.
