Job description

You will be responsible for monitoring and executing various projects focusing on existing concrete structures. During an introductory period, you will become familiar with the specific aspects of concrete damage and receive training from an experienced project team. You will then be able to independently take the lead on a project involving the following phases:

  • Site visit: mapping the concrete problems and the customer’s needs, developing a suitable research program, and preparing a quotation.
  • Project coordination and implementation: preparation of a schedule, carrying out on-site measurements, coordinating technical staff and monitoring laboratory tests.
  • Processing of research results: collecting and processing results obtained from on-site measurements and laboratory tests, and feeding back results to on-site observations.
  • Reporting: targeted interpretation of your findings, preparation of a report and communication with the project team and the client.

In subsequent project phases, specific sustainability analyses, structural calculations, specification drafting, site monitoring, and so on may be included. The specific services you choose to specialize in will be determined based on your personal interests, knowledge, and experience.
